To no surprise, the North American leg of Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint Tour was extremely lucrative for the raptress. Soon after she capper off her European run, she tagged along with Meek Mill, Tinashe, Dej Loaf and Rae Sremmurd for 15 stops in the US and 5 stops in Canada.
The tour was heavily publicized primarily because of Onika’s frequent PDA scenes with the MMG signee and his beef with Drake. As a matter of fact, the feud between the rappers affected the ticket sales as the average price for a ticket was $179, but by the time Drizzy’s OVO Fest took place, the average price was $148.
Anyway, The Pinkprint Tour, which ran from July 17th through August 19th, topped Billboard’s “Hot Tours” list with more than $13 million in revenue.
To be more specific, it earned a total gross figure of $13,010,440 with 293,036 tickets sold. Shania Twain, AC/DC, Chayanne and Ricky Martin rounded out the Top 5 on the “Hot Tours” list. Peep the statistics on Billboard.
